About Us

Faith Ministries was founded by Dr. Gerald Johnson in 1995 after he retired from 45 years of missionary service. It has grown under the direction of Keith Ekberg since 2011 until the Lord took him Home to heaven September 2023.  As of January 2024 Doug Threlfall, Dr. Johnson’s son-in-law, became the director for Faith Ministries. He and his wife Barbara recently retired after 43 years of missionary service. 

There are 34 Salvation tracts and 73 Special Topic tracts and 3 bookmarks. We also have a free Bible correspondence school called Faith Institute of Biblical Studies with over 1,000 students from around the world. Seasoned volunteers aid in filling tract orders, grading tests, processing mail, and attending to office needs.

The Bible says in Mark 5:2-3, “There met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains.”  This verse describes me over 40 years ago. How does someone reared in a loving, caring, moral family end up restrained to the floor of a mental hospital completely unable to communicate, except in violent outbursts? Jesus Christ broke the chains of sin that bound me and brought me out of the tombs.
